At Janus et Cie, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-orientated Project Manager to join the Product Management team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing, coordinating and implementing an intricate, end-to-end process plan that guides the Product Management and cross-functional teams from concept development to launch. Additionally, the Project Manager will provide administrative support to the PM team, to ensure seamless execution of smaller processes within the broader product launch framework. This role will be based hybrid/on-site in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Salary Range: $75k-$110k based on experience

This role requires someone with exceptional process-building skills, a passion for structure and detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Role:

Process Development:

  • Develop and refine a comprehensive, detailed process plan for new product concept development through to launch.
  • Identify bottlenecks and gaps in existing workflows and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish clear workflows and templates to standardize repeatable process.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of product initiatives, with the core focus of ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align schedules and deliverables
  • Develop project roadmap, and facilitate team communication by managing schedules, monitoring progress and tracking follow ups using project management tools.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for all processes, project timelines, and status reports.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks and recommendations.
  • Act as a central point of contact between the product management team and other departments to ensure smooth information flow and alignment.
  • Lead process-related training sessions, to ensure adherence and understanding

Supplemental Administrative Support:

  • Architect and maintain the design and organization of shared folders and files to ensure efficient collaboration and accessibility.
  • Assist Product Managers with scheduling, note-taking, and follow-ups during meetings
  • Coordinate team calendars.
  • Manage documentation repositories and ensure they are updated and accessible to relevant teams.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Management or Product Management
  • Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with product lifecycle process, from ideation to launch
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools, like Excel and PowerPoint
  • B.A/B.S. Degree in any discipline preferred, but not required
