Summary

Future Scholars is seeking a Toddler Head Teacher for our Toddler classroom

Duties

Must be over 18, be nurturing, have a lively personality that is not afraid to be silly with the toddlers, create lesson plans and implement developmentally appropriate instruction in accordance with the CT ELDS, MUST be familiar with NAEYC, create connections with families, must be able to work independently and collaboratively with a co-teacher, and follow all diaper changing/handwashing policies and cleaning procedures, and assist with potty training. The ability to lift up to 50lbs. The ability to utilize whole body movements including, but not limited to, kneeling, bending, lifting, holding, turning, and moving for extended periods of time. Must be willing to get CPR, FIRST AID, Med and EpiPen certified.

Requirements

Future Scholars is seeking a Toddler Head Teacher for our Toddler classroom that has an A.S. in ECE, CDA, or 12 credits in ECE AND AT LEAST 1 YEAR experience working in a center.

Nice To Haves

CPR, FIRST AID, Med and EpiPen certified.
