Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 + Competitive Equity

Backed by top-tier investors including Sequoia Capital, Y Combinator, and Scale VC, this innovative AI startup is at an exciting growth stage with a team of 30 people based primarily in San Francisco.

What You Will Do

As the first Product Management hire focusing on Developer Platform, you will own the strategy and execution for growing the developer community, starting with optimizing the self-serve funnel. This is a hands-on, product builder role where you will:

• Lead Developer Experience : Design and enhance developer onboarding, documentation, API experience, and self-serve conversion points. You will be the product owner of the Developer Portal.
• Drive Growth Strategy : Develop and execute strategies to increase developer signups, activations, and conversions through the self-serve funnel.
• Create Strategic Roadmap : Develop, articulate, and execute a strategic roadmap focused on developer acquisition, retention, and upsell opportunities.
• Make Data-Informed Decisions : Utilize analytics, user research, and experimentation to inform product decisions, measure success, and iterate effectively.
• Provide Cross-Functional Leadership : Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align on product goals, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and customer success initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2-4 years of hands-on development/PM experience with demonstrated success in growth, developer platforms, or self-serve SaaS/API-driven products
• Individual contributor-level Product Manager experience (not Director or Manager of Managers)
• Comfortable writing highly technical documentation, interfacing with developers, and performing your own analysis or lightweight engineering
• Experience working with AI/ML APIs integration, RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and AWS

Preferred

• Experience in developer-focused products with a track record of increasing adoption and driving usage
• Background in converting free users to paid growth and enterprise plans
• Experience in AI/ML space, particularly with multi-modal models
• San Francisco Bay Area based (though exceptional candidates from New York or remote will be considered)
