We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Landscape Designer to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take a leadership role in shaping exceptional outdoor environments.

The Position:

We are looking for a seasoned landscape designer who thrives in a creative environment and brings both technical expertise and leadership skills to the table. This position involves leading the design process from concept through construction documents, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating with contractors, clients, and allied trades to bring projects to life.

• Communicator: You are comfortable interfacing with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Technical Pro: You’re skilled in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and other design software.

• Knowledgeable: You understand codes, ordinances, materials, and the construction process.

• Professional: You maintain a high standard of excellence, from first meeting to final installation.

Job Description:

• Lead all phases of the design process from initial client meetings to final site plans.

• Conduct site analysis, research codes, and develop conceptual designs.

• Oversee and contribute to drafting base files, design plans, and full construction documents.

• Select materials and plants and develop master plans that align with the overall vision.

• Produce presentation graphics, including mood boards, renderings, and plant palettes.

• Attend client meetings, site visits, and coordinate with contractors and other design professionals.

• Direct and mentor junior designers.

• Participate in pricing, research, and overall design strategy.

• Take responsibility for meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional designs.

Requirements:

• Degree in landscape architecture, landscape design, or horticulture.

• 7+ years of experience in a high-end residential landscape design studio.

• A licensed landscape architect is preferred but not required.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.

• Field experience and strong knowledge of construction processes.

• Strong presentation skills and experience communicating design intent.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience.
