Position Overview:

Join a well-established, 30+ year company based in Hartford, Connecticut, that designs and manufactures highly complex, custom automated biotechnology equipment. Their largest systems feature over 60 integrated robots, and they continue to grow their software and firmware engineering team.
The company is seeking two ambitious and technically skilled software engineers to support the development of control systems for cutting-edge automated platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software for robotics and automation systems
Collaborate with engineers and technical teams on the design and integration of automated equipment
Participate in firmware and software development cycles for advanced biotech machinery
Troubleshoot and support electromechanical systems as needed
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using modern programming languages
Contribute to technical problem solving and innovation across projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
Other technical degrees may be considered with strong software development skills
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or other fourth-generation programming languages
Experience or strong interest in robotics, automation, or mechanical/electrical systems
Candidates with personal or professional experience in machine shops, automotive projects, or complex mechanical repairs are encouraged to apply
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

On-site role, Monday through Friday
