The Sr. District Parts & Service Manager (DPSM) is the liaison between American Honda Motor Company, Inc., (AHM) and Honda/Acura dealerships. The DPSM is the dealers' point of contact for all parts and service-related activities. The Sr. DPSM works to identify specific gaps between AHM Objectives and actual Dealer performance in the areas of: Customer Satisfaction with focus on Convenience and Treatment, Customer Pay repair order growth, Honda/Acura Genuine Parts and Accessory sales, Reduction of oil change service time, and dealership profitability. The Sr. DPSM supports development, implementation, and follow-up of action plans to address gap areas for the key MAR's. This support includes but is not limited to; participation in Honda/Acura programs, policies, and procedures, which develop and promote well-managed, profitable parts and service departments, and lifetime owner loyalty. The Sr. DPSM is expected to support DPSM mentoring, Pilot Program(s) as assigned and any other assigned areas of responsibility tasks or projects. This position is responsible for an average of 9-11 Honda/Acura Dealers. Key Accountabilities Achievement of assigned CS Convenience objectivesAchievement of assigned CS Treatment objectivesAchievement of oil change service time of <60 minutes Honda / <65 minutes AcuraAchievement of assigned Fixed Right First Time objectivesAchievement CPRO objective - 2.5% IncreaseAchievement of assigned Parts sales objectivesAchievement of Accessory sales objectivesAchievement of Dealer SA/SC Training Certification objectives (H: 48%), (A: 76%)Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or equivalent work-related experienceMinimum 5 years of auto parts and service wholesale and/or retail experienceAutomotive service wholesale and/or retail experience strongly preferredKnowledge of OEM automotive warranty policies and procedures preferredUnderstanding of financial statements and accounting conceptsDemonstrated sales abilityStrong communication, analytical, business planning and organizational skillsHighly developed customer relations skillsProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Familiarity with using web-based software and smartphone applicationsThis position requires frequent travel and possibility of relocationWhat differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
