Compiling a treatment plan and educating staff as well as working with the patients. Following patients until discharge and attending patient care conferences when scheduled.. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system. Preferred QualificationsRole PurposeThe Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will be responsible for providing services to patients with developmental and/or behavioral difficulties. In this role, the BCBA will collect and analyze data to develop, monitor, and evaluate behavioral treatment plans. The BCBA will also provide consultation and training to families and professionals, as well as collaborate with other professionals to develop effective treatment plans. The BCBA will work collaboratively with the treatment team to address challenging behaviors, identify replacement behaviors resulting in a reduction in workplace violence events. ResponsibilitiesPartners with CPI team to help support behavioral escalations, as appropriate.Conduct functional assessments to identify the antecedents, behaviors and consequences of behavior.Develop behavior intervention plans, including strategies for teaching new skills.Provide consultation to families, caregivers and other professionals.Collect and analyze data as directed.BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
