We are currently seeking a motivated and client-focused Assistant Store Manager to help lead this team. Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven, people-oriented Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a luxury retail team. This role plays a key part in driving sales performance, mentoring talent, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences while consistently delivering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding sales goals and KPIs.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering personalized client experiences and contributing to store success.
  • Maximize business results by leveraging promotional events, product knowledge, and brand storytelling.
  • Help drive new customer acquisition and strengthen loyalty through intentional clienteling and outreach.

Client Experience

  • Ensure every client interaction reflects REEDS’ gold standard of service.
  • Coach associates to elevate their client engagement and deliver memorable moments.
  • Be an accessible leader on the floor—supporting, problem-solving, and celebrating wins.
  • Utilize feedback to enhance service strategy and create a welcoming store atmosphere.

Team Development

  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding top talent who align with REEDS' mission.
  • Foster a positive, goal-oriented culture by providing mentorship and performance feedback.
  • Encourage continuous learning through company trainings and on-the-job coaching.
  • Support performance management processes, from recognition to development planning.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and functional back-of-house environment.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Support inventory control, loss prevention, and adherence to all company policies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is passionate about jewelry, gemology, and timepieces, and can confidently guide customers to their perfect piece. You are trustworthy, a natural go-to person, a positive influence on your team, and you're ready for more responsibility in operational policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/Equivalent

Must have proven written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated teamwork abilities

Proven Retail/Customer Service experience, at least 1 year

Comfortable utilizing technology such as iPads/tablets, Smartphones or computers

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous coursework or certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
  • Management experience
  • Bilingual is a plus!
