Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate recording of entry level journal entries in accordance with the corporate closing schedule.
• Research and document retrieval to support Senior Staff
• Timely and accurate preparation of entry level assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
• Timely research of reconciling items with exceptions reported to Senior Staff for review and
• Carry out any reasonable request by management that employee can perform

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting strongly preferred)
• or a minimum of five years’ experience in a month end close general ledger environment
• Ability to work overtime to assist Financial reporting department deadlines
• Entry level knowledge of various accounting software
• Entry level Excel, Word, Outlook
• Organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills written and oral
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment (team player)
• Language Skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures in English
• Ability to write procedure manuals
• Work Environment
• The characteristics of a professional environment
