The Induction Program “Rejuvenate” of Pharmacy Department for 1st Year Students of D.Pharm/B.Pharm/M.Pharm was held at Seminar Hall of Acropolis Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Indore (AIPER) on 09.08.2018 to 18.08.2018.Various events were scheduled like Campus Visit, Sports, Yoga/Meditation, Self Defense, Plantations, Poster presentations and others extra-curricular activities.
Mr. Rajesh Upadhyaya, DGM, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Dewas was Chief Guest of the program.
Sri Gaurav Sojatia, Chairman graced this event with his presence.
Mr. G.M.Krishna, HOD, IIPC also attended the program.
The program commenced with lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana.
Ms. Anamika Singh, Asst.Professor anchored the program. Sri Gaurav Sojatia & Dr.G.N.Darwhekar, Principal, AIPER welcomed the Chief Guest with floral bouquets.
Dr. Darwhekar welcoming the students for starting their career with AIPER highlighted the importance of acquiring the soft skills along with the technical skills. He stressed that in current scenario the students have to learn these essential things to match the industry expectations.
The Chief Guest Mr. Rajesh Upadhyaya in his exhaustive discourse in simple words and manner touched the basic points of personality development like positive attitude, communication skills, domain knowledge, trustworthiness, sincerity, happiness, respect for organization and people, which are so essential for personal and professional growth and success. He spoke on importance of hard work, team work, self discipline, empathy, selflessness, integrity and professional behavior. He spoke on safety awareness, self hygiene, quality and consistency among others for the industrial requirement. He kept the students engaged by asking frequent questions. It was a very learning program for them.
