MPCST SPONSORED NATIONAL SEMINAR ON “ A CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON BRIDGING THE SKILL GAP BETWEEN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY AND ACADEMIA” on 11 March 2018, Sunday
Acropolis Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Indore (AIPER) organized one day National seminar on “Conceptual analysis with special emphasis on bridging the skill gap between Pharmaceutical industry and Academia”.
Dr. G.N. Darwhekar, Principal AIPER welcomed the dignitaries and addressed the gathering explaining the need of bridging gap between Pharmaceutical industry and Academia.
Dr. Shamsher Singh, Vice Chairman (Academics), Acropolis group was also present in the seminar.
The Chief Guest Dr. D. K. Jain, Director, COP, IPS Academy explained the significance of such seminars, conferences and workshop. He explained the present scenario of education and industry. He also emphasized on the role of teachers and role of various industry persons for bridging the gap between industry and academia. Industry should provide trainings or workshops to faculties as well as to students whenever possible so that students will be aware of more and more practical knowledge about industrial instruments and in turn industry can get skilled students in future.
Guest of Honour Mr. Rajeev Singh Sengar, GM, QA, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd elaborated about various scopes and opportunities for budding pharmacist in Industry. He motivated the students to develop their inner strength and know their area of interest for setting goals.
The keynote speakers for the technical session were Mr. Rajeev Singh Sengar, GM, QA, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Mr. Pankaj Patil, GM, Mylan Laboratories, Mr. S.R.Biswal, DGM, Kusum healthcare, Mr. Shailesh Narkar, DGM, Production, Unichem Laboratories, Mr. Rajeev Mujumdar, DGM, HR, Unichem Laboratories.
Technical session was followed by Inter-college Pharma quiz competition in which 11 teams from different colleges have participated and after 3 rounds of quiz winner team and first and second runner up teams were selected and awarded with cash money and memento. Around 200 delegates from various institutes attended the seminar.
