IMG_2847IMG_2842IMG_2841Eyes are the windows of the soul. Eyes play a vital role in our day to day lives and are perhaps the most precious gift we have. It can become embarrassing if we fail to recognize a person due to lack of good vision. However, health consequences of bad vision can be far worse.

The NSS Unit of Acropolis Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Indore (AIPER) organizes various social activities. This year on 23 November, 2016 free eye camp was organized at AIPER, Indore in association with Rajas Eye and Retina Research Centre. Dr. Subhash Pandit, Senior Consultant, Rajas Eye and Retina Research Centre motivated for eye donation and he figured that if every dead person in the world donates his eyes then economically blindness can be cured within 11 days. Mr. Pranav Shukla, Marketing Manager (Rajas Eye and Retina Research Centre) briefed about services provided by Rajas Eye and Retina Research Centre. He also make us aware of various defects and diseases of eyes such as refractive disorder, cataract, glaucoma and laser surgery. Whole staff of Acropolis including students were evaluated for vision (refractive error), eye problems and those requiring surgery especially cataract were advised surgery.
